December was a bit of a crazy month-- we finished out school and Joel took a quick trip to Germany to transport a baby for heart surgery there, then had a 20 hour layover in Istanbul where he was able to play tourist for a bit. We had a great Christmas with friends and a very calm New Year in preparation for our trip up to Kidepo National park for a safari and visit with some friends. Video and pictures of that trip are to come soon.
