A physician friend of ours with Samaritan's Purse moved to Liberia this past year with his wife and 2 small children, starting their longtime dream of overseas medical missions. Soon after Ebola hit the area and he bravely stayed on the front lines for months fighting for the people he went to serve. Last week, shortly after his family flew back to the states and 2 weeks before his scheduled break, he was diagnosed with Ebola. He is literally fighting for his life, as is his American collogue Nancy Writebol. So, Pray. Pray for Nancy. Pray for Kent and his wife Amber, as well as their 2 children and their families. They are currently separated by an ocean that I'm certain feels even larger now. Pray.
