I'm always curious as to what other people pack. It might just be I'm nosy. At any rate, for any one who cares, here is our current list of what we're packing for the trip. Its also nice for me to have it in an electronic form, since I have a tendency to lose my lists. :)
Almost all will be packed in plastic totes that will have holes drilled in the handles and zip tied closed.
We might bring one or two suitcases for if and when we're travelling incontinent and the trip back.
Clothes:
For the kids--
-10(ish) sets of clothes in their current size and the next size up. For Kianna, a skirt and t- shirt that all mix and match, for Caleb, shorts and t-shirts or polos.
-shoes: Crocs in their current size and the next one up
-rain boots, rain coats and ponchos
-swim suits and rash guards
-hats (baseball and bucket hats)
For adults--
-several long, black, yet light weight skirts for me, with 10(ish) t-shirts or sleeveless shirts and several different black shoes ( flops, ballet flats, sneakers, rain boots) rain jacket, fleece, long sleeve wrap, hat
-khakis (men don't generally wear shorts there), polos, t-shirts, athletic shirts and shorts and several shoes (and more-- I'm not in charge of what Joel is taking ;)
Linens:
Bath towels
Swim towels
Cotten sheets
Toiletries-
basics are traveling size only. We'll buy more when we get there.
Doc Bronner's soap bar (can be used for any type of soap- body, hair, teeth, laundry, dishes...)
spin toothbrushes and batteries
Sunscreen (we are particular about the type and brand)
Lotion (we're kind of particular about that too)
Stain stick for clothes
nail polish and nail stuff (it is, after all, sandal season all year long :)
