Caleb and I just got back from travelling-- we flew to Tampa 2 Tuesdays ago and were picked-up by Joel's mom and Grandma. We spent several days at my Aunt Nancy's and were able to visit lots of family, including Joel's cousins, the Crosby's, my Aunt Raylene, and my roommate from college, Kelley, who just had a new baby :)
Then we drove with Ms Betty up to Joel's Grannie's house north of Tampa and spent several days there visiting Grannie, Papa John, Aunt Barbara and Aunt Dee. Joel's sister Joy and her family visited at the same time, so Leah and Caleb had a great time playing.
We drove up to Birmingham Tuesday and were there until Saturday. We visited with Kyle, Adrienne and Kaden, then on Friday Joy came with Leah and Karen and Nathan brought Audrey and everyone went to a petting zoo, then to Kyle and A's to play in the pool. We had a good, though warm, day. On the way home, Saturday, we got delayed and didn't get home until 3am :( so, we're recovering.
Caleb did SO very well- he's eaten well, slept well, and in general has been very happy and social. I couldn't have asked for more from him. What a little trooper getting hauled around to so many new places and meeting new people. We missed Joel and are sad we missed his second Father's Day, but were in time for our 5th anniversary!
