First Day of Residency and Caleb is 2 months old

Joel's first day as a pediatric resident was yesterday-- it was a pretty good start. He went in at 8-11am in the newborn nursery, then back to the clinic- which at night is like a peds ER- from 6-9pm. This month he's in the clinic - mostly 8-5... unless he's on call all night and the next morning. Next month he'll be on the ward- in the hospital- so his schedule will be a LOT more hectic- so we're glad he's able to start off slow.
The 29th Caleb was 2 months old already! I attached a picture with his bear Nanook.

To the right is a picture of our friends the McGees- Sarah (Vaughn) is holding Caleb- and her daughter Maggie- and Ashley, her husband is to the right. Ashley just finished his Family Medecine Residency in South Carolina. They came by with her parents on their way up to Richmond. The McGees will be moving to Kenya as missionaries with Samaritans Purse in August- so please pray for them!
