We're Here!

We are finally in Greenville. I don't know how we got everything done and still survived. We did have a ton of help moving in with Mom and Dad who drove us down, unpacked stuff, went on errands and helped take care of Caleb. We're getting settled in and learning our way around.


The movers came on Monday, Memorial Day, and loaded the U-Haul, which we then drove out to Mom and Dad's to get the rest of our stuff. After an unrelaxing Memorial Day, we headed out on Tuesday to drive down- Mom and I stopped for lunch at Judy Vaughn's in Richmond for a break and so she could meet Caleb. Wednesday we closed on the house without any problems and movers unloaded the truck while we started unpacking stuff and went shopping for some of the many things we needed. Mom and Dad left Friday afternoon to go back to Hagerstown, getting to start their "retirement" a week late. We'll see both sets of parents in 2 weeks though for Joel's graduation. We, meanwhile, are exhausted. Caleb has decided to go back to a 2 hour schedule at night and takes his long nap in the late afternoon when we, stupidly, don't sleep but try to get stuff done. We'll try to get on a better schedule now that things are a little calmer.

Below are pictures I've been meaning to post and finally can now that we have internet at the house. Also- we've changed our phone number- which is in the email. We've basically dropped Cingular and are primarily using a land line now.
