Al-a-bam-a

 

We made it... 12 hours from Florida - but we made it.  There was some whining and complaining-- but that was just from me.  The kids did great.

We had an excellent visit to the Tampa area, getting to visit with aunts and cousins on both sides of the family, as well as Joel's Grannie who is 99.

We'll now be in Birmingham about a week until Joel and I head to our Samaritan's Purse orientation and the kids head to Maryland for a week with ALL FOUR grandparents.  

Our first week in Uganda is going to be full of jet lag, culture shock-- and grandparent detox.
