We are FINALLY back home after being gone a month, first to my parents house for Thanksgiving, then to Raleigh while Joel did his Emergency Medicine Rotation, then to Florida for Christmas. Whew.
To make all that short and sweet- we had a good time at all of the above--
Thanksgiving was great to see everyone, as well as Pap and Gladys up from Florida.
In Raleigh we survived a one bedroom apartment the hospital provides but did fine. There was a playground right out the door and also went to the museum and the mall several times. We saw Joel MUCH more than we would have, so it was worth while.
We were home an hour and were back out the door--the kids did great traveling, at least considering how much they were in the car. Joel drove and I squeezed in the backseat between them... oh well.... On the way down we stayed with Jo and Wes in Charleston and had a great time, though we didn't get any pictures of the boys playing together :(
We spent a few days in Lake Panasoffkee, then Christmas afternoon were in St Pete to Christmas with the Crosbys, then to Aunt Nancy's in Tampa for Christmas night. We stayed in Tampa the 26th, then back to Lake Panasoffkee, then back here :)
New Year's Eve Joel is on call, so he'll be at the hospital and I'll be ringing in the New Year with the kids- asleep. Well, hopefully no one will be up ;)

Beautiful children, they appear to be refreshling like their maternal granddaddy, intelligent and physically impeccable!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! and much belated Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful daughter. Caleb is growing so big. I remember when our boys were that small. Now Mark is 14 and Zac is 12 and they will soon be taller than me. Hope your new year is starting off well. We will be in Winston Salem, NC around the end of May and first few weeks of June. We will visit the Virginia area about one week as well. It would be great if we could meet your family.
